My path into composition began in high school at Robert College, where I wrote a full-scale musical that was staged at the Suna Kıraç Theater, establishing composition as my primary creative focus early on.
I later graduated from the University of Rochester, during which I also studied composition at the Eastman School of Music, gaining hands-on experience with symphony orchestra writing — training that continues to shape my work as a composer for film and media today.
